Returning for the biggest and boldest Wagner in Vermont festival yet, TUNDI Productions presented the beginning and the end of Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen - The Ring Cycle, with two performances each of Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung.
The festival took place at The Latchis Theatre, Brattleboro VT and opened Friday, August 16 at 7.00pm with the first performance of Das Rheingold. This was closely followed on Saturday, August 17 with our first performance of Götterdämmerung, starting at 3.00pm. Monday through to Thursday was be filled with festival events, which in 2024 included more staged adaptations than ever before, as well as insightful lectures on a range of Wagner-related topics, and shows by our excellent cover casts. Then, to complete the festival we had the second performance of Das Rheingold on Friday, August 23, paired with Götterdämmerung on Saturday, August 24.
