Rosie Bellow began her violin studies at New England Conservatory with Marta Zurad and performed in numerous NEC orchestras, ensembles, and chamber groups. Taking up the viola first with Gillian Rogell, and then with Julian Senney, she held onto her first love, the violin. In the fall of 2019, she got accepted into the top orchestra, NEC’s Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, playing the viola. Summers have been joyfully spent at Apple Hill Chamber Music Center in Nelson New Hampshire, Fresno Summer Orchestra Academy in California, Pacific Regional Institute Summer Music Academy in British Colombia, and Tundi Productions, Opera Festival in Brattleboro, Vermont.
Currently, Rosie Bellow has the high privilege of continuing violin studies with Lucy Chapman with whom she began lessons in 2020. Also in 2020, Rosie began teaching her own students on both violin and viola. In 2022, Rosie achieved her lifelong dream of pursuing her undergraduate degree at Berklee School of Music in Boston. She graduated from Berklee in the spring of 2026, summa cum laude with a Bachelor's. Already registered as a Suzuki violin and viola teacher, Rosie plans to dedicate herself to a full-time teaching career upon graduation.
