David Tournoux has taught music at Putney Central School since moving to Brattleboro with his wife in August of 2021. He came to Brattleboro from Chicago where he previously taught music in Chicago Public Schools for 14 years. David received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Capital University Conservatory of Music in 2008 and his Master of Music Education at the VanderCook College of Music in Chicago in July of 2025. In addition to teaching music, David enjoys performing trumpet with both the Windham Philharmonic and the Brattleboro American Legion Band.
